Day 01 Arrive Auckland
Kia Ora! Welcome to New Zealand, the youngest country on Earth! On arrival in Auckland,
'The City of Sails', you will be welcomed by your World Travelism representative and transferred to your hotel. Auckland is a blend of
islands, Polynesian culture, glistening harbours and modern city environment. Auckland, New Zealand
The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore the city and discover why it is one of the best places in the world
to visit. This evening, why not take an optional Dinner cruise and enjoy a unique dining experience on Auckland's magnificent Waitemata
Harbour?
Day 02 Auckland
Enjoy a city tour of Auckland (Seat in Coach). See first hand why Auckland is regarded as one of the best cities
in the world to live in, as you join this half day tour around the central city and picturesque suburbs. Our journey begins with a short
trip over the Harbour Bridge to the North Shore before returning to the central city to visit Queen St and the Auckland Viaduct.
We continue on through the Auckland Domain, the city's oldest park, situated on a 62,000 year old volcano to Parnell
Village for our morning tea stop. The historic building of Parnell has been transformed in to a trendy shopping area featuring many
boutiques, antique, craft and specialty shops.
Following this brief stop our tour will then take you along the scenic waterfront
route of Tamaki Drive to the Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park, in Mission Bay. A memorial to the first Labour Prime Minister of
New Zealand and the founder of the welfare state, Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park has panoramic views over Whenua Rangatira, Auckland
city and Waitemata Harbour. This park is a popular wedding and tourist venue, with formal gardens and a perfect venue for flying a fabulous
array of colourful and creative kites. The tour then returns back downtown.

Day 03 Auckland Waitomo Rotorua
Rotorua, New Zealand
Transfer from hotel in Auckland to hotel in Rotorua, en route enjoy a guided tour of Waitomo Glowworm Caves (Seat in Coach).
Leaving Auckland in the morning we travel through the lush farmland of the Waikato and King Country regions. Drive past
Rangiriri, location of the historic Maori Land Wars site. On arrival in the small town of Waitomo, enjoy a guided tour through the world
famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves with their amazing stalactites, stalagmites and other limestone formations. We finish the tour with a silent
boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto - a subterranean cavern lit up by the lights of thousands of tiny glowworms. We then continue our
journey this afternoon by driving to Rotorua, through the forested Mamaku Ranges ,and the beautiful Fitzgerald Glade where the roadside
trees arch overhead to form a tunnel of natural greenery. Rotorua is a compact package of natural beauty, from forested hills, and geysers
(that spout up to 50 feet into the air) to mud stream vents. On arrival in Rotorua, check-in to your hotel and relax in this perfect
paradise!!
Day 04 Rotorua
Enjoy a guided tour of Te Puia Thermal Reserve followed by a visit to the Rainbow Springs and Agrodome Sheep Show
(Seat in Coach).
This morning, explore Rotorua's geothermal wonderland and discover the unique culture of New Zealand's
Maori people. Enjoy a guided tour of Te Puia Thermal Reserve and see boiling mudpools and roaring geysers. Continue to Rainbow Springs
to see New Zealand's trout, birds and wildlife before proceeding to the Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog
demonstrations, cow milking and an introduction to the sheep industry.

Enjoy an authentic Maori Hangi (feast) and concert (Seat in Coach).
In the evening, enjoy an authentic Maori Hangi (feast) and Concert. Experience the welcome ceremony before
you enter the Maori village, with crackling open fires in front of traditional houses. You'll hear traditional Maori instruments
and watch the daily activities of days gone by. Enjoy a display of haka song and dance that a Rangiatea culture group performs.
In the afternoon, why not immerse yourself in the Polynesian pools and relax in the healing thermal waters?

Day 05 Rotorua – Wellington
Travel south to reach the popular lake resort of Taupo and along the shores of Lake Taupo to Turangi before continuing
on the Desert Road dominated in the background by the three peaks of Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe and Tongariro. Continue south through lush
farmland before arriving in the 'Capital City' of Wellington. Wellington - the Capital of New Zealand is a cosmopolitan city with
the most spectacular skyline of all major cities in New Zealand. Wellington, New Zealand
The rest of the day is at leisure in this compact city, filled with culture and character. Nestled between the harbour
and the hills, the downtown area is ideal for explorations on foot. Enjoy cafes, restaurants, museums and all kinds of shops. Dance,
theatre and musical performances are a Wellington specialty.
Day 06 Wellington
Enjoy a city tour of Wellington (Seat in Coach). In the morning, enjoy city tour of Wellington. There's no better
way to discover Wellington's rolling hills, rugged scenic bays, and iconic architectural landmarks than on this 2.5 hour guided tour.
The must-see attractions include the famous Beehive and parliament buildings.
The Old Saint Paul's Cathedral is the Southern Hemisphere's finest example of Gothic Revival architecture. Admire the
Lady Norwood Rose Garden, and the breathtaking views of the city from the summit of Mount Victoria. Return to downtown with a drive around
the rugged scenic bays of the harbour. A ride on the iconic cable car is an optional extra, but well worthwhile.

Day 07 Wellington Picton Kaikoura
Journey across Cook Strait, which separates the North and South Islands of New Zealand and into the Marlborough
Sounds with its sparkling clear waters and lush forests before arriving in Picton. Travel south through the towns of Blenheim before
reaching Kaikoura.

whale watch cruise or enjoy a scenic flight?
Day 08 Kaikoura Christchurch
Leave Kaikoura behind as you turn inland and travel through North Canterbury to reach the 'Garden City'
of Christchurch. Christchurch is New Zealand's second-largest city and the gateway to the South Island. Christchurch, New Zealand.
The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore the city with its numerous heritage structures, museums,
parks, gardens, cafes, malls and restaurants.
Day 09 Christchurch Mt. Cook – Queenstown
Queenstown, New Zealand
Transfer from hotel in Christchurch to hotel in Queenstown, en route visit Mt. Cook (Seat in Coach).
Travel across the fertile Canterbury plains to Lake Tekapo and the Church of Good Shepherd before continuing on to New Zealand's
highest mountain - Mt. Cook. Enjoy the Alpine paradise of Mt. Cook - a larger than life experience. You may choose to take a nature walk,
enjoy an optional scenic glacier flight (weather permitting), or simply meditate on the beauty of the Southern Alps. Depart Mt. Cook and
follow the shores of Lake Pukaki south through the historic Central Otago region to the 'Alpine Resort' of Queenstown.

Day 10 Milford Sound
Cruise on the Milford Sound (Seat in Coach)
Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breathtaking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Take an unforgettable cruise aboard a Milford Sound Red Boat to experience the pristine scenery, towering peaks, waterfalls and marine and bird life. Sail past the incredible Mitre peak, Bowen Falls, Stirling Falls and Seal point. Milford Sound is a world-renowned natural wonder. Nowhere else in Fiordland do the mountains stand so tall, straight out of the sea. Luxuriant rainforest clings to sheer rock walls and waterfalls tumble hundreds of metres to the sea below. In Maori legend, this landscape was created by Tu Te Raki Whanoa, a godly figure who carved the fiords with a magical daze. Without doubt, Milford Sound (Piopiotahi) is his finest creation. Whatever the fiord's mood - brooding and wet, or tranquil in the sunshine - it will inspire you.

Day 11 Queenstown
The day is at leisure. Almost everywhere you turn in this tourist capital of the South Island, you are hit with another
postcard scene... beautiful Lake Wakatipu, snow capped mountain peaks, canyon gorges with rushing rivers, mountain forests and abundant
wildlife and the list goes on! Why not bungy jump from the top of the world's bestloved Bungy site, the Kawarau Bungy Centre (optional),
take a cruise aboard the TSS Earnslaw steamship (optional) Or let your adrenal rush as you zoom down the river on a Jet Boat Ride (optional).
You also have an option of taking an optional Skydive and experiencing the thrill & excitement of Parachute jumping!!
Day 12 Queenstown Glacier Region
Depart Queenstown and travel via Lake Wanaka and through the historic Haast Pass, gateway to the World Heritage Westland
National Park. Continue up to the West Coast past spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to the glacier region of Franz
Josef and Fox Glaciers. Glacier region, New Zealand.
Day 13 Glacier Region
The day is at leisure to explore the magnificent glacier region. Explore the Franz Josef Glacier which extends 12 kilometers
from its three feeder glaciers in the high snow fields of the Alps, or the Fox Glacier named after an early New Zealand Prime Minister,
William Fox. You may choose to view the jagged snow-covered mountaintops by taking an optional scenic flight (weather permitting) over
New Zealand's beautiful glacier region or a guided walk on one of the glaciers (optional)?
Day 14 Glacier Region - Greymouth Christchurch
Travel north to Greymouth and board the world famous Tranz Alpine train. Ascend the lush beech forests past the
alpine village of Arthur's Pass before crossing the spectacular Southern Alps. Truly one of the world's great scenic train trips
through the dramatic contrast of dry beech forests and tussock land on one side of the Alps and lush landscapes on the other.
Travel over Canterbury Plains to arrive in Christchurch. You will marvel at the snowcapped peaks and beautiful river gorges as you wind
your way past waterfalls and rugged mountain scenery. Christchurch, New Zealand.
Day 15 Depart Christchurch
